In the Summer of 2019, I completed a 4 month internship at Patagonia, on the apparel graphic design team. During this time, I created original illustrations and graphics for shirts, hats, and other apparel. I also art directed and managed concepts. Many of my graphics will be entered into the line in Spring 2021. Presented here are original b-roll concepts that did not go further past ideation.
The Fitzroy Fish is one of the most iconic marks in the Patagonia brand, and a top seller for anglers and other customers alike. I was tasked with revamping this iconic mark in a simple line illustrative way, to minimize ink use and provide a fresh take on the fish. The design chosen will not be released until Spring 21, but above are some of the contenders.
